+ Here it is Arte, nearly the 15th of July of 2010! I'll be turning 67 on that day. It will be a "Golden Birthday" for me this time around. I came into the world on a Thursday back in 1943, and this will be a Thursday again. It happens every 7 years. Well, I know you'll be here in spirit to wish me another happy year and one closer to our Reunion one day.
Things don't look so good in the country, but what is good about the shameful course our leaders are taking us is that they have awaken in the "Silent Majority" that we all need to work harder to keep our Republic and our Constitution sound and on track. We shall not fail, as the former “Sons of Liberty” did not fail. Eternal Vigilance is the only way we can keep the City on a Hill shining to the rest of the World. You don't see anyone trying to flee from this land, but on the contrary, you see so many people trying to steal into this country. That tells me that America remains that same Beacon to the World. I know you are watching us, Arte; may we never stop being Watchful, like you were and are! Pray for us, Arte. We need all the help we can get! Your brother-in-arms! Jake

+ Artey, Another summer is soon on us! The year is 2010. The country is in a mess and I am thankful you don't have to deal with what evil is being perpetrated in the name of government in this land right now. But we Patriots of the Tea Party will not give up the Ship to what is going on; we will fight for our Republic as did the Green Mountain men and the Sons of Liberty did. I sincerely hope that you will find Peace where you are, and look back once in awhile and think of us who you left behind and remember we are only a few paces behind you. We will join up again as Brothers-in-Arms one Day. Until then, may God Bless us all until that Day.. and may God bless your family wherever they are. You have left then a wonderful legacy... we will never forget you, Artey! - Jake

+ Here we are again, Artey. Another year is soon to pass away. You have been gone now a year and nine months (as of today - September 15, 2009). Missing you doesn’t get easier. You are one of my Hallmark Brothers-in-Arms Artey!
I am glad to see that your family members are coming here to leave their own sentiments. We all know you are not dead; just gone on over to the other side and Life continues for you. You always told me that we would be ‘back to back’ forever. I believe that more today than ever, and I am looking forward to seeing you again one of these days. One never knows when the clock of life stops, but when it does for me, I’ll be ready.
You are lucky you aren’t here and seeing what shameful things are going on in our country with a perpetrating President and Congress who have no love of this country, only the demise of it. Many folks are up in arms about it and I don’t think it would take much for patriots to rise again like in Patrick Henry’s day. So you know that God and Good will prevail regardless of how the evil doers are seeking to destroy the America we all grew up in. Keep the Faith on your side, Artey! The *Real* War is coming. Brothers-in-Arms Artey! I love ya, man! Jake

+ Grandpa, I miss you so much and wanted to stop in to say Happy Birthday. I know things are a little ****y with the family, but I still miss you and grandma, she is still with us, but I am afraid to go and see her. You know what I mean. Things just got so messed up after we lost you, you where the one that held us all together. I am sorry, I love you and feel you around from time to time and I can hear you telling me that I am either doing something good or what are you doing girl. Thank you for watching over me on my flight to Arizona and for watching over Shlah and her family while they where gone. We all love you and miss you. Rest well, Grandpa, you deserve it.
Love, Heather

Tammy, Mushy and others of Arte’s loved ones. This is Jake. I am glad you all have left your tracks here. It shows
that this was a good idea, and is a means to ‘talk’ to Arte in a very special way. He knows what you are writing
and leaving here. Never think he don’t. You can also pray to him via our Lord Jesus Christ. Say, “Lord please dispatch
an angel to Arte Krenn and tell him I love and miss him. Thank you Lord and thank you for all You have done for
us to be an Eternal Family. Love, Mushy “(Shirley, Tammy, Traci, Scott, Shane, Heather, Krystal or your name here).
Remember this, ‘God holds in His heart a very Special Place for warriors who struggled and some die in defense
of righteous ideals – even when those ideals aren’t always strictly defined. God loves courage, strength of character
and Honor in those of His children - your loved one is not dead, just over on another Shore awaiting your arrival’

what, Artey! The Army wants your story for their 1st Armored Division's Museum at Ft. Bliss, Texas, which is being
constructed. The 1st Armored is finally returning home to Ft. Bliss after being deployed so long overseas. You
always wanted your story to be told, and now things are beginning to happen for you. I truly wish you have lived
long enough to learn about this new twist to the Krenn Papers and the Story you wrote for the world to see. God
Bless you Artey, and I know there is celebrations going on among your comrades there where you are. Give them my

+ My
dear friend Artey, here we are at another Memorial Day, and thoughts come racing in of you, and then I begin to
miss you terribly. You are one of the best friends I’ve ever had in life. It has been difficult living without
you, but I do it day by day. Your loved ones certainly know what I am saying here, as they must do so also. This
past month, my sister lost her husband to a cerebral hemorrhage, and we’ve been surrounded by deep sorrow. I gave
the eulogy for him at his Memorial Service, and I did him proud. You would have been proud of me, too Artey, for
I sang a solo, “Our Savior’s Love” – a wonderful song of Hope and Comfort. I would have loved to sing for you too,
so the next time I sing at Church on Sunday, I will sing for you Artey. One of my favorite songs is “Abide with
Me” – and I’ll sing that for you and for our Savior, whom I love very deeply. So old friend, take care and give
all our loved ones and friends – especially your comrades my Hello, and a hearty “Welcome Home”! Your Buddy Always,
Love, Kenny

+ Artey,
here it is, a new Spring, and thoughts are turned to family and doing things together. You are never too far distant
from any of us, and we do not wish to leave you behind as we gather as families. Your spirit is always with us;
your companionship is felt, but you are truly missed by those who knew and love you. We do not wish to forget you,
nor the life you lived and the sacrifices you made for we Americans who can live free thanks to your generation’s
blood, sweat and tears. We also know that God (and good) will prevail amid the changes we see everyday on the News
(which reports only the evil things and seldom the good).. But we know that no one will wrest this country from
the hands of those who love it and wish to fight to preserve it. "Some people" may think they can do
it, but they will have to rip the country out of our dead hands before they do! That is where America lies – in
the hands of those who fought for it. Freedom is not free; if we don’t, as Americans, stand up and fight for it,
we could lose it and as Edmund Burke said, "The only thing needed for evil to triumph is that good men do
nothing ..." Let us all remember that. Let us also remember you, Arte for what you were and what you continue
to be - A *Real* American whom we all admire, love and wish to never forget. Kenny

old Buddy, It’s Ken again here to wish you a Happy Birthday.
I know your loved ones will come and do the same here so I thought, being the 20th, I’d get the jump on them, and
wish you many happy returns. I know you are happy where you are, so this is more for us, than for you. All of us
are still dealing with the grief of losing you, so it is we who need to find comfort. We do so in leaving you these
messages here often, and you know that I personally think of you often, and this year has not been easy, not having
my good friend Artey here to talk to.
The Hunting season is soon approaching, and once again, I get to missing that annual Venison Salami that you sent
me. That’s a “Sweet” reminder of you for me. So thoughts of you will now start coming on more often, which is good.
I know you miss all of us too. But I know that you are never too very far away from us in both spirit and thought.
So we’ll remember this day of days as your day. We will never forget!
Your Brother,
Ken

dear friend Artey, here it is, another year, and you now have been gone 7 months and 10 days. Time sure does pass
fast. I think of you often, Artey. Wish you were here again so we could discuss the condition of the country and
how much it has digressed since the last time we talked.. But sadly, there is no phone service where you are, and
rightly so, since you’d never be able to get anything done with all the phone calls you’d be getting from all of
those who love and miss you down here. I know that more important WORK goes on where you are, and that too much
mourning your passing by those who love you here, hinders your progress and ability to move on. So all of those
of your family who read this should be aware of this, so we don’t keep you from finding the Peace you so much need
and deserve, after all these years of troubled Waters. Life here doesn’t get any better; in fact it gets slowly
but surely worse. The country isn’t any better, in fact, it’s getting slowing worse and worse. There is no one
to write to the Fond du Lac Newspaper any more complaining how the government is not doing their job. Edmund Burke
said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – so we, as good people
must continue to do our part in voting and keeping evil men from these important positions in government, but your
grand-daughter Tammy will be writing to the newspaper for you, now as your Proxy for so she vowed she would do.
I know she will keep the vigil for you, while you are away. We also know that your being ‘Away’ will not always
be so. One day we all will be together again with those who mean the most to us. Family is forever. No other group
of people understand this, than the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). I, being
one, tried my hardest to impress this truth on you while we talked on the Phone and wrote our letters… so now I
am placing it here so all your family members may realize that Families truly are Eternal. And we can be together
in those Sacred Units again, if we work hard at it. So rest in Peace, dear friend. Your Family all misses you as
I do also. Your friends think of you often. Here it would have been 16 years since we became friends back in 1992.
That friendship will continue on forever, as we promised each other. Not many years down the pike, and I’ll be
coming there too. The 15th of July marks my 65th birthday. Time passes so fast.. I do so long to join with you
there. May God keep us until then. Ken ‘Jake’ Jaccard, Winchester, Tennessee, Friend, Brother and Web Yeoman since
1995.

+ Letter
to Editor for you pup pup I faced the first Memorial Day without my beloved Grandfather Arthur "Arte"
Krenn. On Memorial Day it was 6 months to-the-day, the good Lord took him away. On that day, there was one less
Veteran in the Memorial Day Parade. The family and I want to give a big thank you to Wayne and Bill Geis who bore
signage on their Army jeeps, (in memory of my Grandfather) in the Parade. We also want to thank John Stateson (also
a good friend to Grandfather) who rode in Wayne's Army Jeep - not only as a WWII Veteran himself, but also in honor
of his friend. These same Army jeeps led my Grandfather's hearse to his grave. Grandfather would always write Letters
to the Editor. Most of the time, I didn't even read them when they were published. When he would get on his "soap
box" about politics and the world, I would just roll my eyes. Now, I believe many (not all) of his ideas and
opinions to be true. Before 911, I wasn't very political. After 911, I began educating myself. In spirit of my
Grandfather, I will from time to time try to write a Letter to the Editor in his memory. I owe him that much. I
am tired of the big oil companies getting blamed for the price of gas. As any other business they are entitled
to make a profit. As demand increases in the world (China) more crude is produced. The more output the bigger the
profit. Economics 101. OPEC and the stock market are driving gas prices. As you know, we are far too dependent
on foreign oil. We are funding the very terrorism we are trying to fight. They are holding us “hostage”, right?
Wrong. The problem in our country is the "tree huggers" as Grandfather would call them. I call them environmentalists.
The big oil companies WANT to drill more oil in our country. They want to drill off the shores of California, Florida,
and Alaska. We are sitting on one of the world's largest oil reserves in Alaska on the 19 million acres of oil
rich land in the "Artic National Wildlife Refuge" (ANWR). The "tree huggers" protested when
the Alaska Pipe Line was built, because they thought it would impact wildlife. This never happened. But, still
the environmentalists say NO WAY to more drilling. 19 million acres is a lot of space to share. The deer and the
antelope can still play. We aren't allowed to build any more nuclear power plants, or refineries in this country.
Everyone screams for alternate energy, until a wind energy farm is in your back yard. I have had the opportunity
to see the wind farms on the east side of the lake, as well as the wind farm to the south. I think they are beautiful
to behold, and something we should all appreciate and be proud of. As far as I know, there have been no problems
to the Ethiopian birds migrating to the Horicon Marsh (no offense to those of you who tried to stop the farm).
My husband and I both commute to our jobs. We are gas hogs. We have always had large gas bills. However we are
paying more for gas a month than our mortgage. We have looked at other options, believe me. Anywhere to moving,
buying more fuel efficient vehicles, etc. However, for many personal reasons, it is impossible for us to make any
changes at this time. We are stuck and being held “hostage” by the "tree huggers". I was thinking about
cutting down a tree (facing the "tree huggers" wrath) and making a canoe out of it - so I could paddle
my way up to Appleton. But I lost the paddle......... Tree huggers shout "preserve the planet's resources".
Well, if we aren't tapping into oil here - we are tapping it from somewhere else – and the last time I checked
- we all live on the same planet (I think). Devoted Granddaughter & Gas Hog Tammy Abel-Bevan
